Grove Ave Starter: Jumpstarting Your Day

Getting Started With Starter

About a year ago, my friends and I began working on a new company called Grove Ave (fair warning, this is a bit of a cross-promotional post). The other two guys who regularly write for BuysWithFriends, Andy and Pete, are also working on Grove Ave. We put out a free e-book that helps people become more productive and we have a second e-book on the way. If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you know that we really value our time and our freedom, both of which greatly inform whatever purchases we make. So, we began to think about the following question: what kind of product could we come up with that would help people save time every day? It took close to a year to formulate but we finally did it: we created Grove Ave Starter, a combination energy and immunity booster. I took it for a month and now I’m ready to talk about it. How did it go?

What is Starter?

Grove Ave Starter is a daily supplement made with all natural ingredients. Starter provides a smooth energy boost along with immunity support. It combines caffeine (found in coffee), l-theanine (found in green tea), with vitamin C (oranges!) and echinacea (one of the primary ingredients in Airborne) into one small package. I take one every morning. I take it instead of drinking coffee. I’m thinking of replacing my daily vitamin with it too. What’s nice about it is that l-theanine smooths out the effects of the caffeine so that I don’t get any drop off in energy. And there’s only about two cups of coffee worth of caffeine in Starter so I can modulate my use– if I’m feeling like I need an extra boost in the afternoon, I just take one. With coffee, it is hard to know exactly how much caffeine you’re consuming. Why else should someone take Starter?

Grove Ave Starter Saves Time

Have you ever thought about how much time it takes to brew coffee in the morning or wait in line for some barista to do it for you? Let’s say it takes 20 minutes to prepare, brew, and allow to cool coffee, or that you have to wait the same amount of time in the line at Starbucks. If you do it five times a week, the total amount of time spent waiting for coffee is over 72 hours or three entire days of your year spent waiting for coffee. That’s a lot of time. Unless you really enjoy drinking coffee that much, this is an area where you can grab some efficiency gains. Going this route isn’t for everyone. Some people really enjoy the coffee shop atmosphere or the joy of crafting the perfect cup of coffee via french press. But for everyone else Starter is very helpful for saving time.

Grove Ave Starter Saves Money

Along with the time savings, Starter saves money. A cup of coffee at Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts is about $2, not to mention the time and effort of getting there. Buying a daily cup of coffee is about $14 a week or $728 annually. If you took one Starter pill a day, it’d cost half that amount, effectively saving $360+ dollars annually by switching. That’s significant savings, especially over several years.

Conclusion: Not Going Back To Coffee

After using Starter for the last 30 days (I’m actually on my second bottle now!), I can unequivocally say that I’m not going back to coffee. I don’t miss the taste and I do like the time, money and energy saved. If you’re interested, email us at buyswithfriends@gmail.com and we’ll send you an exclusive coupon code for Starter.
